One night only! Join us on Saturday April 16th for Witness: A Good Friday Play. Written by Orchard cofounders Damian and Anna Leverett, Witness reimagines the story of Jesus of Nazareth's death on the cross from the perspective of five different characters present for the events in the gospel accounts.
This piece began as a series of different monologues written and performed by the Leverett's over the course of 5 years for their local church's Good Friday service. This year, for the first time ever, all the pieces have been combined into one cohesive play. They are touring the show to multiple church venues during the week leading up to Easter, culminating in one public performance on Saturday night.
